Browse step-by-step guides, screenshots, and video tutorials across our 5 simple categories to set up and run your mock test portal effortlessly.
Step 1 (Upload & Extract): Log in to your cPanel File Manager, open public_html, and upload the EduElite script zip file. Extract the archive.
Step 2 (Create MySQL Database): Open MySQL Database Wizard in cPanel, create a database and user, and grant ALL PRIVILEGES.
Step 3 (Run Web Installer): Visit your domain in a browser to launch the 4-step installer wizard. Verify PHP 8.1+ extensions.
Step 4 (Finish Setup): Enter your database details and institute name. Your portal is now live! You can also insert screenshots or a YouTube tutorial video right here from the WordPress editor.
EduElite is built on an optimized CakePHP architecture. For up to 500 concurrent test-takers, a standard Linux cPanel hosting plan with 2 GB RAM works smoothly. For 1,000 to 10,000+ simultaneous test-takers, we recommend our Managed Cloud Suite or a 4 GB+ KVM VPS with PHP-FPM and OPcache enabled.
Log in to your Admin Command Center → Configuration → General Settings. Upload your coaching institute PNG logo, favicon, and update your support phone and email. Use the built-in CMS Website Builder to update banners and front-end pages without coding.
Navigate to Admin → Payment Gateways. Paste your live Key ID and Key Secret from Razorpay or Stripe, configure the webhook secret, and select your currency (INR/USD). All student payments settle 100% directly into your bank account.
Go to Admin → Question Bank → Import Questions. Download the sample Word or Excel template, add your bilingual questions (English + Hindi) along with MathJax/LaTeX equations and images, select your Subject/Topic, and click Upload.
Open Packages → Add New Bundle. Select the mock tests, downloadable PDF notes, and live class schedules you want to bundle together, set the price and validity days, and publish.
EduElite automatically saves candidate responses in real time. If a student internet drops or device shuts down mid-exam, their timer pauses safely. Upon logging back in, the exam resumes from the exact question and remaining second.
In proctored exams, candidates grant browser camera permission before starting. Switching browser tabs or exiting full-screen mode triggers a warning alert and auto-submits the test once the warning limit is exceeded.
To ensure registration OTPs, password resets, and payment receipts reach student inboxes, configure your SMTP credentials (Host, Port 587/465, Username, Password) under Admin → Email Settings.
If you have purchased the Flutter Mobile App Add-On, configure your REST API endpoint URL and JWT secret key inside the app configuration to enable real-time synchronization and auto-logged-in web checkout.
